Hello I’m Leah!

I’m a Tertiary Qualified Psychologist and Coach. In a world where technology is changing our culture. providing challenges and opportunities, I feel it is important to allow people to access high quality Psychology, Coaching and Education services via technology. Indeed, research is showing online Psychology services provide equivalent outcomes equivalent to those of face to face sessions [1] [2]

For me, education was my ticket out of a tiny rural shire in far north Queensland. I was the only person in my extended family to enter higher-education. But it changed my life! I have three degrees now and to say I have a love of learning is an understatement.

Learning is a large part of Psychological treatment; people learn about themselves and learn skills to help them move themselves through issues and towards wellbeing. With the right techniques we can work towards reducing problems, but we can also work towards flourishing and wellbeing.

Sharing my learning and working with people to grow into their best possible selves is a passion and a calling for me.

I have a warm and empathetic approach, I focus on understanding and building a trusting connection with people I work with. Not only do I personally value respectful relationships, but empathy is a vital part of obtaining treatment outcomes [3]. Indeed, almost 30% of your counselling results will depend on the level of empathy you feel from your Psychologist!
